Set in the historic market town of Alnwick, tucked into the grounds of The White Swan Hotel. This delightful Northumberland self-catering holiday cottage is ideal for weekend breaks or for longer holidays to explore the beautiful Northumbrian Coast.
The White Swan Cottage is just a stone’s throw from Alnwick Castle and Gardens and is the perfect location to base yourselves for exploring the very best of the North East with its unspoilt coastline and historic landmarks. Discover Holy Island and Lindisfarne, Northumberland National Park and the exciting cities of Durham and Newcastle.
Our Cottage also benefits from an outside area where you can enjoy a BBQ, and direct access to Alnwick town centre. Guests staying at Swan Cottage will also receive a welcome hamper and have access to free Wi-Fi throughout.
About White Swan Cottage
The White Swan Cottage has three generous sized bedrooms which are able to sleep up to six.
Our cottage is a delightful stone built house with its own garden set back from Bondgate in the heart of Alnwick in Northumberland.
It is just a short walk from all your essential needs, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets as well as only two minutes walk from the entrance to Alnwick Castle and Gardens.
Upon arrival you will find a complimentary welcome basket at the cottage and you will find your accommodation comprises of the following:

Things To Do whilst staying at White Swan Cottage
We’re situated in the heart of Alnwick, so you can find The Alnwick Garden just a short walk from our door. Alnwick Castle is also within easy walking distance and offers an enchanting window in to the past.
For the bookworms, take a stroll down the road to Barter Books, housed in a restored Victorian train station, and delve in to a good book.
Take a day tip up to Bamburgh Castle or further on to Holy Island to see Lindisfarne Castle and experience Northumberland’s rich history.
