For well over a century, Grinkle Park has witnessed great occasions, and your wedding will be one of those to remember. From the moment that you pull up in front of our impressive entrance porch, the grand atmosphere will lend an air of excitement and expectation, and we’ll ensure that your wedding day includes all the elements that will make it just as you imagined it could be.
Our wedding licence means you can take your vows in our Palmer Suite, or smaller Camelia Suite for more intimate weddings, then you and your guests can mingle whilst enjoying reception drinks and canapés as you pose for photographs, prior to sitting down and enjoying the sumptuous wedding breakfast.
On summer days, guests can spill out onto the terrace overlooking our beautiful manicured gardens making the perfect backdrop for pictures. Sparkling winter weddings are no less spectacular, with our handsome staircase a stylish spot for impressive photographs to treasure.
Your wedding breakfast will be just as you planned it, and feature the menus you’ve carefully chosen for your guests. Our Palmer Suite, which looks out over our gardens, can accommodate up to 150 people, and the Camellia Terrace has its own private lawn.

The Palmer Suite
Say ‘I do’ in the cosy splendour of our baronial manor house
Our purpose built Palmers Suite in our beautiful Yorkshire Moors retreat is the ideal romantic setting for your special day, whatever the season.
The Palmer Suite was designed and built in 2006 specifically for you and your guests to enjoy the most of your day with a double doored entrance, purpose built full length bar and full height Victorian styled windows on three sides giving you panoramic views of the extensive lawns, lake and woodland and beyond to the Yorkshire Coast.
In the warmer months, raise a glass to your future happiness on the outside patio area that overlooks beautifully landscaped lawns and gravel pathways that loops round taking in both a delightful woodland and mini lake. Lit by twinkling fairy lights and lanterns, it’s simply perfect for a romantic summer evening. Mingle with friends and family and celebrate the start of your new life as Mr and Mrs.
The gardens, lake and woodlands offer a truly idyllic setting for your civil ceremony, as well as providing countless opportunities for those all-important photographs.
Grinkle can comfortably seat up to 150 guests for a Wedding Breakfast and 180 for evening celebrations in our purpose built Palmer Suite.
The Camelia
A unique room that is ideal for the more intimate styled wedding celebration that promises to capture both your heart and imagination
The Camelia can accommodate up to 40 guests and has that charm that is difficult to resist for your wedding venue in the North Yorkshire Moors, whatever the season. For an intimate candlelit ceremony and wedding breakfast, the Camelia has the perfect back drop to your day with beautiful maintained lawns leading to delightful woodlands that are only topped by a balmy evening under the stars. The Camelia is an enchanting Yorkshire wedding venue both inside and out.
The Camelia is licensed for civil ceremonies and has direct access to the side lawn where friends and family can mingle both before and afterwards, it’s also the perfect place for your guests to arrive in style!

Complimentary luxury accommodation is provided for the bride and groom in one of our romantic Four Poster Suites. Combining traditional charm and a contemporary finish, each sumptuous suite is designed with the highest attention to detail with plush furnishings, a luxurious private bathroom and magnificent views out over the landscaped gardens and surrounding Lancashire woodland. It’s the perfect place to spend your first night as newlyweds.

Using Grinkle Park and its extensive grounds on the edge of North Yorkshire Moors exclusively allows you to make the most of your wedding day. You can plan your day and evening to make full use of both inside and outside spaces in your own individual way. Often couples will use the impressive baronial manor house for the ceremony or arrival drinks following a church wedding, then the Palmer Suite for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.

The Great Outdoors
Set in tranquil grounds of Grinkle Park the side lawn by the Camelia offers panoramic views of the main lawn, lake and woodlands, an impressive backdrop of this baronial manor house.
If an outdoor wedding is what you and your partner are looking for then a marquee could be just the thing for you, it would includes the use of the house which has a wealth of original features to give your celebration a unique atmosphere. The relaxed lounge and bar area lead through to the Camelia that has doors opening on to the lawns so guests can enjoy an outdoor drinks reception.
The stunning adjoining Camelia is available for a civil ceremony with its original stone walls, parquet styled flooring and full height windows on two sides with views of both rear and side lawns. This therefore means that you have the option of having an indoor or outdoor ceremony.
