Our baronial mansion hosts festive events throughout December and retains an elegant charm with traditional decorations adorning the hotel, wreaths swathed on the fireplace and exquisitely decorated trees dotted throughout.
Christmas and New Year is such a popular time of year here at Grinkle Park that bookings are often taken well in advance (sometimes the morning after), so we suggest that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Festive Afternoon Teas, Lunch and Dinner
Well ‘it’s Christmas’ after all!
During the day, there are festive lunches and Christmas Afternoon Teas to relax and enjoy.
It’s the perfect break from all that Christmas shopping and the ideal early festive treat with friends or family. In the evenings Grinkle Park is alive with traditional Festive Dinners served in our Conyers restaurant.
Christmas Afternoon Teas
Served from 1st December
Meet up with friends or treat someone you love to a festive afternoon tea. Enjoy homemade sandwiches, cakes and mince pies, all served with a pot of your favourite tea. Add a little sparkle to your Christmas Afternoon tea, to include a glass of Lanson Champagne.
Christmas Lunch and Dinners
Throughout December we will be offering our popular traditional festive lunch menu for you to enjoy. For those looking to hold a small intimate private dinner for friends and family, Our Conyers Restaurant veranda is the ideal spot.

Our Festive Christmas Party Nights are always popular – good food, great hospitality, traditionally decorated tables with crackers and novelties and a lively and fun evening with our resident DJ providing the soundtrack.

Murder Mystery At Christmas
Do you know someone who is an amateur sleuth?
Let them test their skills out at one of our famous Classic Murder Mystery Events.
Grinkle Park Estate is ideal for an atmospheric Murder Mystery night or weekend. Bring your friends and join in the ferstive fun.
Our Murder Mystery events are presented by Tall Tales and can be booked on-line.

Children’s Christmas Party
Sunday, 15th December
1pm – 4pm
Start your family Christmas celebration with us at Grinkle Park. Bring the kids to our Children’s Disco “Wibbly Wobbly,” featuring a children’s buffet and disco. The event’s highlight will be a special visit from Santa himself, who will have a gift for each child, making it an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Served in our Conyers Restaurant and Palmer Suite with novelties and crackers to make things go with a bang!
Our Christmas Day lunch has been described by guests as ‘an experience not to be missed’ and many come back every year. What’s not to like as we offer an exciting and delicious menu that contains all of the usual classic dishes.

New Years Eve in the Moors
New Year’s Eve is the culmination of the fantastic seasonal calendar.
Arrive at your leisure and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in front of the roaring log fire or in one of our lounges. Join us for a pre-dinner drink followed by a delicous New Year Eve dinner. Then welcome the New Year in with a glass of Lanson Champagne*.
On New Year’s Day, enjoy the 35 acres of grounds that surround Grinkle Park or venture further afield to the exhilarating North Yorkshire Moors or beautiful coast including Whitby.
