Traditional driven shooting in beautiful countryside
Centred on two steep wooded valleys – perfect for delivering a challenging shooting experience – the Grinkle Park Estate, which incorporates the Roxby Shoot, offers parties of up to 9 guns some of the finest driven shooting available in the area. The Sunny Banks drive has an enviable reputation for its spectacular birds, along with numerous other drives which compare with the most respected pheasant drives in the country. The romantic names – Keepers Bank, Nine Chimneys and Stonecliff – have an almost legendary status with the shooting fraternity.
None of Grinkle’s drives are for the novice however, the Estate can provide experienced loaders and carriers to assist novice guns to ensure an enjoyable and safe day’s sport.
Our Season
Our season commences early/mid-September with partridge days and then into October with mixed days ending January.
Please be advised some walking may be necessary for the more remote gun stands.
Shooting Packages
At Grinkle Park we specialise in 1 and 2 day residential shooting packages.
A typical day will be arriving at your leisure late afternoon/early evening, check-in to the hotel and socialise with fellow guns. Pre-dinner drinks followed by sumptuous dinner. After a hearty Yorkshire breakfast, pegs are drawn then depart onto the estate for a truly superb days shooting. Lunch can be taken midway through the day or in the field should you be shooting through.
Itineraries can be tailored to meet your needs and our experienced team is always ready with suggestions and advice. In general the package price is based on the bag size plus hotel accommodation tariffs.
Grinkle Park is a “one-stop-shop” where you can arrive socialise, dine and shoot all under one roof.
