Roundthorn Country House is one of Cumbria’s premier wedding venues and is well-known for its expertise in wedding receptions. The Cumbrian Suite can accommodate up to 150 guests for a Wedding Breakfast, and for the evening, up to 200 guests can join in the dancing, or enjoy a quieter drink in the Lounge Bar.
Sleep
There are a variety of rooms available: our Four Poster for special occasions, the Mini Suite for those who prefer to have a little extra space, or one of our Family rooms, which accommodate families of up to four. We also have the Mews @ Roundthorn Self Catering Apartments
Eat
The Roundthorn Country House offers residents an informal dining experience, with our Supper Menu served in our cosy bar and lounge areas.
The menu includes traditional Cumbrian dishes, all prepared using the best locally sourced ingredients and Afternoon Tea

The Mews
The Mews are luxury self catering apartments provide the perfect ‘socially distanced base’ for guests. Set in grounds of Roundthorn Country House Hotel in the Eden Valley and 5 minutes from Penrith.
