A Dog Friendly Welcome
At Lakeside Hotel & Spa we started welcoming man’s best friend for many years and have created dog friendly garden rooms. Located in the hotels where we can offer the right facilities for both the owner and their cherished pet.
As the popularity of owners holidaying with their dogs has increased, we added more rooms over the years at the hotel. These dedicated rooms that are suitable for your dog both in terms of size of room and location within the hotel for easy access.
At Lakeside we sit on the southern shores of Lake Windermere surrounded by miles and miles of great Cumbrian walks. We would be happy to suggest some routes for you that have been popular with other owners.

Our Garden Rooms
Perfect for your 4-legged friend
Although dogs are not permitted in public areas of the hotel, we are pleased to accept dogs to stay with guests in our Garden Rooms. With access to their own private themed garden, these rooms are situated in the country house wing of the hotel. These rooms feature a queen size bed with private patio garden and enjoy woodland views – perfect for your 4-legged friend.
We charge £25 per night for your dog (maximum 1 dog per room).

Terms and Conditions
Our hotel has a limited number of suitable rooms which are subject to availability. Each hotel will charge a per dog per night suppliment with a maximum of two dogs per room. Hotels do not allowed pets in the restaurant or public areas. Please make sure dogs are not left unattended in your room, damage caused buy customers pets will be charged.
