Offering dining by the water’s edge of Lake Windermere, we are serving breakfast and dinner in our Lakeview Restaurant and Conservatory.
Afternoon Tea
We firmly believe that afternoon tea is one of the joys of life, and one that is made to be shared. We are delighted to bring you the freshest, homemade scones, sandwiches and cakes – all served, of course, with a piping hot pot of your favourite blend.
Make it a celebration and add a glass of fizz!
Enjoy your afternoon tea in either the conservatory or our tranquil garden terrace. We serve a delicious range of classic tea-time treats, including sandwiches and a selection of our team’s favourite home-made sweet treats.

Dinner is the highlight of any stay here at Lakeside with a range of superb dining choices. These includes our conservatory and terrace dining throughout the day.
Our Head chef is passionate about sourcing Cumbria’s freshest seasonal produce and letting the flavours speak for themselves. All diets are catered for, and with a little bit of advanced warning our team can be creative with your needs.

Candlelight, fresh flowers and fine wines set the mood for a delicious dining experience every evening.
Our classic restaurant serves steaks cooked on a charcoal barbecue in a sealed chamber; this gives it a unique flavour and retains the moisture. Rare breed steaks are served 7 nights a week.
Breakfast
Our goal is to make the most important meal of the day – a highlight of your stay.
Breakfast is served from 8.00am through to a leisurely 10.30am daily.
Begin with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, graze from our cold buffet and then choose from a variety of exciting breakfast dishes. (Cumberland sausage with hash brown & relish pictured here).
