Our Harrogate Meetings Rooms

Situated just a short walk from the centre of Harrogate and the Harrogate International Centre. The Old Swan Hotel has nine ground floor meeting rooms which are ideal for events, meetings and conferences of all styles and sizes.

The Garden Room

Elegantly proportioned and spacious, with full length double aspect windows and designed like a classic conservatory. The Garden Room can accommodate up to 300 guests or delegates. A portable bar makes The Garden Room ideal for business banquets or business receptions, and adjoined to the neighbouring Ballroom, can accommodate up to 450 people.

The Ballroom

The Ballroom is one of the finest venue spaces in Harrogate. Separated from the Garden Room by Corinthian-style columns. The Ballroom has a wall of full-length windows, and is spacious enough to accommodate events for up to 300 guests for an important dinner or conference. The Ballroom’s facilities include a built-in raised stage and the extensive wall space make it ideal for exhibitions and trade shows. An integral plasma screen can provide an impressive presentation for up 130 people.

The Red Lounge

This spacious room has views through large windows over the garden and Direct access to it. Ideal for smaller meetings for up to 40 people or for theatre-style seminars for up to 90 guests. The room still retains many of its original Victorian features, including an ornate carved fireplace, a great space for private dinners and receptions.

The Rose Room

Though ideal as a syndicate room for larger meetings, the elegant Rose Room, with its fabulous chandelier and traditional furnishings, can accommodate up to 90 guests for a private dinner or reception.

Bramham Suite

Named after an area of Yorkshire famed for its hunting, the Bramham Suite is a flexible room ideal for small meetings for up to 30 people. The Suite can be split into two distinct spaces. So you can hold your meeting on one side and use the other side for break-out space. It also works well as a syndicate room for larger meetings.

Fox Hunter Suite

The Foxhunter Suite can cater for events for up to 30 people, training sessions for up to 20 people and boardroom meetings for up to 25. With its ornate stained-glass ceiling and elegant setting it suits smaller private dinners.

The Foxhunter and Bramham Suite are connected to each other via a set of interconnecting doors.

Penthouse Suite

The Penthouse Suite was originally the hotel’s billiards room, then it became a meeting room. But now, it can be used in the daytime for a board room meeting for up to 20 people. Then, with its retained low brass lights and re-installed renovated snooker table, be used for an evening team building event.
