There’s no better place to share Christmas and New Year celebrations than with friends, family or work colleagues at Hickstead. Our Edwardian house hosts festive events throughout December and retains an elegant charm with traditional decorations adorning the hotel, wreaths swathed on the fireplace and exquisitely decorated trees dotted throughout the hotel.
During the day, there are festive lunches and Christmas Afternoon Teas for something relaxing, the perfect break from Christmas shopping or an ideal early Christmas treat for a loved one. In the evenings our hotel is alive with traditional Festive Dinners served in our restaurant and our Festive Party Nights.
Our Classic Christmas Party Nights are always popular – good food, great hospitality, traditionally decorated tables with crackers and novelties and a lively and fun evening with our resident DJ providing the soundtrack.
Our Christmas Day lunch has been described by guests as ‘an experience not to be missed’ and many come back every year. What’s not to like as we offer an exciting and delicious menu that contains all of the usual classic dishes. Best of all no washing up afterwards!
New Year’s Eve is the culmination of the fantastic seasonal calendar and is a glamorous affair with drinks reception and canapes on arrival, then enjoy a four-course dinner, Champagne celebration at midnight all finished off with dancing into the small hours with our resident DJ.
Christmas and New Year is such a popular time of year here at Hickstead that bookings are often taken well in advance (sometimes the morning after), so we suggest that you book early to ensure you can reserve your preferred date and avoid disappointment.
