The White Swan
The White Swan in Alnwick offers two dining options, right in the heart of the town. The Olympic Suite Restaurant is an exceptional experience and features the original panelling, mirrors, ceiling and stained glass salvaged from RMS Olympic, the Titanic’s sister ship. The head chef and his team put together seasonally-changing menus using fresh, local produce and offering a wide range of dishes. Complimenting this is an extensive wine list.
The more informal Bistro, Hardy’s, with its relaxing atmosphere and large windows overlooking Alnwick High Street, offers a bistro-style menu with a selection of light dishes, salads and a full three-course menu. Vouchers can be redeemed for either dining experience.
The elegant Glendale Restaurant offers fine table d’hôte overlooking the hotel’s beautiful grounds and is the perfect spot for a celebration or a treat, or for a relaxing evening with great food. Farington Lodge’s Garden Restaurant, open to non-residents, has a unique and elegant atmosphere reflecting the history of this fine house.
