Highwood Lodge is perfect location for exploring Yorkshire’s “Last of The Summer Wine countryside”, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, or the Peak District and Bronte Country close by and York is only 45 minutes away.

Highwood Lodge also benefits from an outside patio area where you can enjoy a BBQ overlooking a wooded valley. Guests staying have access to free Wi-Fi throughout.

About Highwood Lodge

Highwood Lodge has four bedrooms which are able to sleep up to eight.

Our Lodge is just a short walk from all your essential needs, restaurants, pubs, local supermarkets as well as only 10 minutes’ drive from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Come and enjoy a delicous afternoon tea, dinner in our Glendale restaurant or the more informal Nortons lounge menu whilst relaxing with a drink which is a few minutes walk away.

From Highwood Lodge there is plenty to see and do. We’re situated in the midst of the West Yorkshire countryside with hiking adventures right at our doorstep.

Take in a spot of culture at the with a visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Learn about Yorkshire’s past with a visit too the National Coal Mining Museum.

Head west and you will come across Holmfirth, the filming location for Last of the Summer Wine. There’s always the option to travel further afield to the Peak District which is full of wonderful countryside walks and breath-taking views.

If you fancy a day trip out, York is a popular choice being less than an hour away by car and so is Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield.
