There’s no better place to share Christmas and New Year celebrations than with friends, family or work colleagues at Grovefield House. Our turn of the last century country house hosts festive events throughout December and retains an elegant charm with traditional decorations adorning the hotel, wreaths swathed on the fireplace and exquisitely decorated trees dotted throughout the hotel.
Christmas and New Year is such a popular time of year here at Grovefield House that bookings are often taken well in advance (sometimes the morning after), so we suggest that you book early to ensure you can reserve your preferred date and avoid disappointment.

Our Classic Christmas Party Nights are always popular – good food, great hospitality, traditionally decorated tables with crackers and novelties and a lively and fun evening with our resident DJ providing the soundtrack.

Christmas Afternoon Teas

Meet up with friends or treat someone you love to a festive afternoon tea. Enjoy homemade sandwiches, cakes and mince pies, all served with a pot of your favourite tea. Add a little sparkle to your Christmas Afternoon tea, to include a glass of Lanson Champagne.

Throughout December we will be offering our popular traditional festive lunch menu for you to enjoy. For those looking to hold a small intimate private dinner for friends and family, Our Conyers Restaurant veranda is the ideal spot.

Served in our Hamilton Restaurant and Huntswood Suite with novelties and crackers to make things go with a bang!
Our Christmas Day lunch has been described by guests as ‘an experience not to be missed’ and many come back every year. What’s not to like as we offer an exciting and delicious menu that contains all of the usual classic dishes. Best of all no washing up afterwards!
New Years Eve Gala Dinner
New Year’s Eve is the culmination of the fantastic seasonal calendar.
Welcome in 2022 with a Prosecco and canapes reception to start the celebrations. Then Enjoy a delicious five course dinner and dancing in our Hunstswood Suite. We’ll then countdown to midnight with a celebratory glass of Champagne.
Our gala dinner is a glamorous affair so dress to impress.
