Let’s Get Married
At Badgen Hall we have a licence for civil weddings and partnerships, so you can hold your entire wedding, with ceremony and reception, in one place. That’ll make it easy for you and your guests.
With capacity for 2 to 180 guests, several suites, and the option for an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, you are free to choose the size of your celebration. Our Orchard Suite is designed for larger events and has doors opening onto the terrace overlooking our extensive gardens. For a more intimate setting, our Glendale Restaurant, and Blue Lounge are ideal for between 2 and 60 guests.
We have several Suites which are licensed to hold civil ceremonies, so please call our Wedding Co-ordinator on 01484 865330 who will be happy to talk through your plans with you.
Civil Ceremonies
Civil ceremonies are carried out at Bagden Hall by the Kirklees Registration Service, and the service will talk you through what you must do to ensure your ceremony complies with the law.

Garden Weddings
Take your vows in our unique setting by the Lake. A unique and magical place to start your married life together.
We’ve all heard of fairytale endings, but what about a fairytale beginning? Tucked away in the lovely grounds of Bagden Hall you’ll find The Little Folly by the Lake, a quaint Victorian folly where you can now make your marriage commitment to each other, as your guests watch from the water’s edge. You can then walk together across the Hotel’s lawns to your wedding reception that awaits you.
