There’s no better place to share Christmas and New Year celebrations than with friends, family or colleagues at Bagden Hall. Our Victorian Country House hosts festive events throughout December and retains an elegant charm with traditional decorations adorning the hotel, wreaths swathed on the fireplace and exquisitely decorated trees dotted throughout.
Christmas and New Year is such a popular time of year here at Bagden Hall that bookings are often taken well in advance (sometimes the morning after), so we suggest that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Well ‘it’s Christmas’ after all!
During the day, there are festive lunches and Christmas Afternoon Teas to relax and enjoy.
It’s the perfect break from all that Christmas shopping and the ideal early Christmas treat with friends or family. In the evenings Bagden Hall is alive with traditional Festive Dinners served in our Glendale restaurant.
Christmas Afternoon Teas
Served from 1st December
Meet up with friends or treat someone you love to a festive afternoon tea. Enjoy homemade sandwiches, cakes and mince pies, all served with a pot of your favourite tea. Add a little sparkle to your Christmas Afternoon tea, to include a glass of Lanson Champagne.
Christmas Lunch and Dinners
Throughout December we will be offering our popular traditional festive lunch menu for you to enjoy. For those looking to hold a small intimate private dinner for friends and family, Our Glendale or Nortons bistro are the ideal spots.
Christmas Party Nights
Let The Festive Fun Begin!
Our Classic Christmas Party Nights are always popular – good food, great hospitality, traditionally decorated tables with crackers and novelties and a lively and fun evening with our resident DJ providing the soundtrack.
Christmas Day Lunch
Our Christmas Day lunch has been described by guests as ‘an experience not to be missed’ and many come back every year. What’s not to like as we offer an exciting and delicious menu that contains all of the usual classic dishes.

We offer a great Christmas staycation package that starts with your arrival on Christmas Eve. Then over the festive period just relax and enjoy Christmas by letting us take care of everything until we wish you a safe journey home.
New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve is the culmination of the fantastic seasonal calendar.
This year why not relax and enjoy your a New Year’s Eve champagne afternoon tea with great Yorkshire hospitality.
Our Afternoon Teas are served with unlimited Tea or coffee of your choice. Dainty Finger Sandwiches served on white or brown bread made to order.
