Bagden Hall is the perfect atmosphere for a traditional West Yorkshire Christmas or New Year celebration. The Halls are decked, trees sparkling and with roaring log fires, excellent food and relaxing accommodation, a fabulous time awaits you.
There’s no better place to share your festive celebrations than with friends, family or colleagues at Bagden Hall. Our Victorian Country House hosts festive events throughout December and retains an elegant charm with traditional decorations adorning the hotel, wreaths swathed on the fireplace and exquisitely decorated trees dotted throughout.
Christmas and New Year is such a popular time of year here at Bagden Hall that bookings are often taken well in advance (sometimes the morning after), so we suggest that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Festive Afternoon Teas, Lunch and Dinners
Well ‘it’s Christmas’ after all!
During the day, there are festive lunches and Christmas Afternoon Teas to relax and enjoy.
It’s the perfect break from all that Christmas shopping and the ideal early Christmas treat with friends or family. In the evenings Bagden Hall is alive with traditional Festive Dinners served in our Glendale restaurant.
Festive Afternoon Teas
Served from 1st December
Meet up with friends or treat someone you love to a festive afternoon tea. Enjoy homemade sandwiches, cakes and mince pies, all served with a pot of your favourite tea. Add a little sparkle to your Christmas Afternoon tea, to include a glass of Lanson Champagne.
Christmas Turkey Lunch
Throughout December we will be offering our popular traditional festive turkey lunch with coffee and a sweet treat for you to enjoy.
For those looking to hold a small intimate private dinner for friends and family, Our Glendale or Nortons bistro are the ideal spots.

Let them test their skills out at one of our famous Classic Murder Mystery Events.
Bagden Hall is ideal for an atmospheric Murder Mystery night or weekend. Bring your friends and join in the ferstive fun.
Our Murder Mystery events are presented by Tall Tales and can be booked on-line.

Santa’s Tea Party
Sunday, 8th December
12.00(Noon) – 2pm
Start your Christmas celebration with us at our Santa’s Tea Party! Enjoy a delightful afternoon filled with festive sandwiches, a variety of teas, delicious cakes, and a fun biscuit decorating session. The event’s highlight will be a special visit from Santa himself.
Christmas Day Lunch
Our Christmas Day lunch has been described by guests as ‘an experience not to be missed’ and many come back every year. What’s not to like as we offer an exciting and delicious menu that contains all of the usual classic dishes.
