Isle of Man Darts Festival - The four-day International Darts Festival offers a prize fund of over £30,000 and is hosted at the Villa Marina in Douglas. It attracts some of the top names in the sport including a number of World Champions. The Festival offers players the chance to build up valuable ranking points which can provide the gateway to a place in the World Championships and helps to confirm the Manx event as one of the most popular darts tournaments on the Calendar.

Canister Bank Longest Day Longest Ride 24 Hour Mountain Bike Endurance Race
The format of the event is simple, ride for as long as you possibly can clocking up the most number of laps of the course. Unlike most 24 hour events held in the UK and other parts of the world, due to the size of the venue the course itself is relatively short, approximately 5km in length, yet it offers a variety of riding from forest roads to sweeping single track and boardwalks through the trees; add to that the fact you will be riding through the night and feeling fatigued, no two laps will be the same.

Parish Walk - By entering the 2017 Manx Telecom Parish Walk you have the opportunity to walk on the famous 85 mile Parish Walk course around each of the Isle of Man’s parishes, including roads closed to the general public. Provided you reach Santon, you will receive a certificate to recognise your achievement (available at the prize presentation or posted to you) and the time taken to reach each church is recorded on an electronic timing system displayed on the internet and may also be transmitted to two mobile phone numbers nominated by you. The event starts at the National Sports Centre in Douglas.

Tynwald Day - For a slice of authentic Manx heritage join us on Tynwald Day, the national day of the Isle of Man, it’s the only day when Manx parliament is held on Tynwald Hill and the public get chance to lobby the lawmakers by presenting petitions.The ancient ceremony has been held for more than 1,000 years. Traditionally marked by a fair but nowadays it’s a much bigger celebration with concerts, family ceilidh, firework displays, stalls and displays.

Yn Chruinnaght (meaning ‘the gathering’) is a celebration of Manx culture and the relationship between the Isle of Man and the other five Celtic countries (Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany). Manning Angling Fishing Festival - The Mannin Angling Club 66th Fishing Festival will comprise of boat and shore matches from Port St Mary with several different events which include charter boats, private boats and shore matches for adults and juniors over the week.This is an extremely popular event for visiting families and locals alike with excellent fishing on our doorstep. There are prize for each day of competition.
