Alnwick Market Place
Northumberland Farmer's Market 9am-3pm
All products sold are grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders, with many organic products on offer. Sample succulant beef and pork, game in season, luxury ice-cream, and Northumberland cheeses washed down with Matfen Magic or Holy Island Ale.

Jools Holland at Alnwick Castle
Saturday, 17th July  Once again Jools Holland with his 17-piece Rhythm and Blues Orchestra will be heading the cast of a fantastic music event at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. Special guest Stars include Alison Moyet and Ruby Turner will be joining him on stage.  Gates open from 5pm with guest support artists on stage from 6.30pm. The event will have a grand firework finale to round off what promises to be a fantastic night.

Thursday 5th & Friday 6th August  Moscow Ballet Theatre ‘Osmoi Div’ in the Guest Hall, for a performance of The Sleeping Beauty and The Treasure of Siegfried. Tickets are £15 adult, £10 Children. Sunday,18th July  Alnwick is hosting an International Market for one day, with a variety of offerings, which may include, pashminas, jewellery, French breads and cheeses, Italian, Corsican, Peruvian and much more! www.traditionalmarket.co.uk/

Alnwick International Music Festival
31st July - 7th August  Over 300 entertainers from around the world, a grand costumed event with dancers in traditional costume with traditional music. Evening concerts in the Playhouse, and dances each evening in the Northumberland Hall. Most events are centered around the Market place.

English National Sheepdog Trials 2010

Cross Border 100 (Cycle Ride)
Sunday, 19th September
The Cross Border 100 is a brand new ride with a difference, offering a choice of starting points, one in England and the other in Scotland. The Cross Border England starts in Alnwick, Northumberland and this fantastic new 100-mile circular ride offers some of the best cycling terrain through the challenging Northumberland hills, including some truly lung-busting climbs. This is a charity bike ride in aid of

Alnwick Beer Festival
Saturday, 18th and Sunday, 19th September
