All products sold are grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders, with many organic products on offer. Sample succulant beef and pork, game in season, luxury ice-cream, and Northumberland cheeses washed down with Matfen Magic or Holy Island Ale.

Alnwick Gardens – autumn / winter
We are delighted to read the jam packed itinerary of events this autumn / winter at The Alnwick Garden Half term see the gardens celebrating with a wicked week of family fun including pumpkin carving, wand-making, Halloween puppet-making and a potions master class. Open every day this winter (excluding Christmas Day) until 9th January when they will close for a month for essential maintenance.  The garden will re-open ready to welcome the new season on 10th February 2012.

Shrove Tuesday Football at Alnwick Castle
Tuesday 21st February 2012
Commencing at 2pm on Shrove Tuesday every year, the Duke of Northumberland starts the 'game' by throwing the football from the battlements of the Alnwick Castle barbican to the waiting crowd below. The game continues downhill to the pastures and is played on the pastures and the river Aln below the castle.Spectators are welcome - but don't get too close!

Tenors Unlimited Weekend

Wine Tasting Event
