Shooting at Grinkle Park

Traditional driven shooting in beautiful countryside
Set in a stunning North Yorkshire landscape and covering 3000 acres of grassland and woodland, Grinkle Park is one of the premier shooting estates in the north of England.

Centred on two steep wooded valleys - perfect for delivering a challenging shooting experience - the Grinkle Park Estate, which incorporates the Roxby Shoot, offers parties of up to 9 guns some of the finest driven partridge and pheasant shooting available anywhere. The Sunny Banks drive has an enviable reputation for its spectacular birds, and our three other drives compare with the most respected pheasant drives in the country. The romantic names - Keepers Bank, Nine Chimneys and Stonecliff -have an almost legendary status with the shooting fraternity.

None of Grinkle's drives produce 'beginners birds' and the Estate can provide experienced keepers to assist novice guns to ensure an enjoyable and safe day's sport.

Our season
Pheasant days run from November to January whilst partridge days are available during September, October and November. Duck and woodcock are also present and can be included when appropriate. All-terrain vehicles are provided for guns and guests, although some walking may be necessary for the more remote gun stands.

Shooting packages and house parties
The Estate Day-Package includes transport, a team of beaters and dogs to retrieve your birds, together with lunch and mid-morning and mid-afternoon light refreshments. Programmes can be tailored to meet your needs and our experienced team is always ready with suggestions and advice. In general the package price is based on the number of birds taken. Return for a private dinner or a table in our excellent restaurant.
