Phones are red hot
This week the Northern Lights lit of the night skies around Alnwick and Northumberland. The White Swan had its annual Burns Dinner for the Rotary Club of Alnwick with bagpipes and plenty of whisky flowing - that's when the reception team weren't answering phone after the hotel was featured on Michael Portillo's Great Rail Journeys.
